How the Adopt An Ox Program (AAXP) Works
In today’s urban lifestyle, maintaining a cow at home is nearly impossible due to space constraints and limited resources. Even in smaller towns, keeping a cow is challenging without access to fresh fodder and proper utilization of its byproducts, such as cow dung and urine.
To overcome these challenges, ISSCOP has introduced a community-based cow maintenance system, where cows are cared for in rural areas on behalf of city residents. Through this initiative, families can adopt a cow without the burden of daily upkeep while receiving pure Oil, Grain, and other Vegetables at a minimal cost—almost free!
Through the Adopt An Ox Program (AAXP), individuals can either own a Bull themselves or invest in ISSCOP’s Bull protection and breeding infrastructure, with a special focus on the Tharparkar breed in the initial phase.

Adopt An Ox Program (AAXP).
Investment & Benefits:
- The investment for one bull is only Rs. 25,000/-.
- The investor will receive:
- Rs. 625/- per month OR
- ¼, ¾, or 1 liter of pure cold-pressed oil (Sesame, Groundnut, or Mustard) per month.
Oil Requirement & Investment for a Family:
- On average, one person needs 12 liters of oil per year.
- If a family consists of four members, they would need 4 AAXP schemes, requiring a total investment of Rs. 1,00,000/-.
In return, the family will receive:
- 2, 3, or 4 liters of pure cold-pressed oil per month (Sesame, Groundnut, or Mustard) OR
- Rs. 2,500/- per month.
This benefit will continue for the next 10 years.
